Exclaim! Media Inc. is Canada's foremost source of news and information on the best in emerging new music. Established in 1991, Exclaim! reaches a national audience through print, digital and live event platforms. Exclaim! Magazine is Canada's premier national music culture publication with a monthly circulation of over 100,000 copies distributed through more than 4,000 outlets across Canada.
Over the course of 10 years as the art director, I played a key role in shaping the Exclaim! brand by preserving its core values in both its print and digital incarnations. I led the shift in its visual style and established a new design language and system that has carried over until today.
